BEFORE YOUR MICROSHADING APPOINTMENT
24 hours before your appointment: No coffee, energy drinks, or caffeinated drinks This will prevent any excess bleeding, or oozing, and minimizes swelling during the procedure.
2 weeks: no tanning, waxing, or threading(I want to see how your brows grow out, brow tint, fish oils, Botox in the brow area, eye cream, chemical peel, sunburns, AHA skincare products, tanning, fillers, collagen. (I will shave excess hair)
30 days: no retinol, laser, chemical peels, micro-needling, or any intense skin rejuvenation
NOTE: Permanent cosmetic enhancement normally requires more than one session. To achieve the best results, you will be required to return for at least one 6-8 week touch-up after your initial application.
Be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days.
*If you've had any cosmetic surgical procedures done on the face area, please wait TWO MONTHS to fully heal prior to your microshading appointment.
*If there are any open wounds, pimples, bruises, or any other skin irritations on the area; please wait for them to be completely healed before your appointment.
*If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-again creams, RetinA/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels, or frequently exercise, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely. The better you care for your brows and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.
*Nobody's face is totally symmetrical and you need to be realistic with your expectations. There is no point in trying to make the eyebrows identical even if I were to use a stencil on your brows they would still look different because our bone structure is not symmetrical. One brow bone will always dominate/ protrude or be a little higher than the other also the side your sleep on plays a factor. Sisters, NOT twins is used universally in this field.
